Recognise & Reward

• Our Trust continues to recognise the nationally agreed pay increases for Teachers, and we currently align our support staff pay with Portsmouth City Council’s pay scales for our academies in Portsmouth and West Sussex

• In April 2023, we opted to implement the pay award offered to the Support Staff unions before it has been agreed to help limit the impact of the Cost of Living crisis

• In September 2021, SEN allowances for Band 4 and 5 TAs were introduced across the Trust as an incentive which supports retention, and which recognises the expertise of our staff

• Our staff have access to the Teachers’ Pension scheme and Local Government Pension Scheme.  The Local Government Pension Scheme also offers the flexibility of paying half of the normal contribution rate to build up half of a normal pension through their 50/50 section of the scheme
